dOUG’s Bio

dOUG wrote his first song on a friend’s guitar, instead of studying for first year Calculus. He was hooked, and three years later he was ready to bring his music to the world.  A trip through coastal and southern USA began his career as a street performer.  dOUG tasted stages at coffee houses and bars in almost every city that crossed his path. On the sidewalks he fell in love with the raw honesty of those drifting audiences. It was here that he began to discover what sounds good, and it’s here that he returns time and again to question new material.With a sound influenced by Tom Waits, Veda Hille and Pink Floyd, dOUG has created a style guaranteed to sooth and electrify.
